I coined it first. So be warned.
I want to differentiate my criticism of Senator Clinton’s ridiculous speech on Martin Luther King day.
My criticism is two pronged: 1) It was a stupid metaphor. If she isn’t proof reading and REALITY CHECKING her speeches before she opens her mouth, then we have a serious problem. 2) She was grandstanding and stumping for votes (badly) on MLK day, which should have been solely about celebrating the life and legacy of a great mind.
I do NOT, however, criticize the scope of her criticism. Republican guard dog comments that she was “out of bounds” are the usual bullshit smoke and mirrors. Republicans - jump started by the evil, heinous, diabolically clever sound bites of Karen Hughes - are expert at latching on to one idiotic facet of a complex issue and twisting it into a simplistic sound bite that even Scotty McClellan can spit out without stammering.
Other than her inexcusable metaphor: Hillary. Was. Right.
