I’m not going to say how much I spent today, but it’s ridiculous. How do I manage to spend that much money the *day* I am flying out. New black (and thus versatile) running shoes. Lots. New springy insoles for shoes. Lots (and about half what the shoes cost). New emergency Euros. Lots. Freefall panic? PRICELESS.

Actually, not that I am packed, have emergency bucks I am quite calm. picking up after the cyclone hit my house so that ppl feeding my cat don’t have to kick too much aside… quick shower at 4, then I am off. Wheee.
