I’ll do a thorough post this weekend when I have time, including pictures and links and things. This short story is that this is not plug and play. It requires a lot pokeryjiggery in the engine.

I picked it up in Oakland last night and got to watch the last stages of my mechanic checking all the new gas lines and whatnot. We did a maiden voyage up 24 in Oakland to make sure nothing was going to explode, and I learned how to use the little onboard computer that makes it all work, then I took it home across the Bay Bridge without a hitch.
It’s pretty experimental—particularly on a car this new with lots of computerized bits and high tech fuel injection and whatnot. While asking around hobby forums, I had lots of people telling me this:

wow, you are quite the early adapter. now you can steal grease from the back of KFC’s at night.
in that conversion how many fuel pumps needed,
