The Supreme Court is back in session.
Watch this spot for really sad and scary things from them this year. They heart the corporations like nobody’s business (ha). I predict that Halliburton and Exxon Mobil will be awarded punitive damages because the NYT hurt their feelings on the playground.

The Supreme Court ruled unanimously Monday that colleges that accept federal money must allow military recruiters on campus, despite university objections to the Pentagon’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on gays. (Read more)
I have mixed feelings. In a utopian world (which still needed a military for some reason), it’s perfectly reasonable to ask that places accepting tax dollars should allow access to federal military recruiters.
But it isn’t utopian, and the fed doesn’t recognize me as complete human being, while forcing me to provide money to organizations that would see me put in hell, in prison, or dead.
Today I am tired of being asked to compromise. I don’t want to recognize that one little difference. That one little difference means that I’m not human, and that shit doesn’t fly.
