My main axe is alto sax, although I double a mean flute. I play all the other saxes equally well, but have always preferred the alto or bari (something about the Eb instruments, perhaps).

I have the pleasure of being an alumni of Brass Beat -- a band and youth orchestra educational organization in Denver, founded and run by Joy Caylor. In the Bay Area, I am an alumni of Double Funk Crunch and the Nerve Meter. DFC is an amazing funk/disco band, and tNM is something else entirely. Both sites have pictures and MP3s so you can get a better idea of what they are all about.

I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA on a full scholarship where I pursued a degree in Commercial Arranging. It was at Berklee that I met my housemate, friend, sometimes coworker and sometimes musical cohort Stacia Carr.
